Book Clubs at St. Perpetua

This year, we offer four book clubs to our students.  Students bring lunch to the library to discuss a book they all read.  Activities and discussions are inspired by the book.  Dessert is provided.  We read books nominated by the California Young Reader Medal (CYRM) committee.  After the students have read all three nominees in their age-category, the students vote for the best book.  Our votes are tallied and sent to the State of California.  Our students and their votes help to select the book that wins the CYRM medals.
