Delaney helping with the Fire Drill
On Mondayof this week,Delaney MeinandJulia HaggertywerePrincipal and Vice Principalfor the day. One of their jobs was to write for the weekly parent bulletin:
Hello families of St. Perpetua,
We are the principal for the day, Delaney Mein and the vice principal for the day, Julia Haggerty. So far, we have visited classrooms, went to a meeting, helped the office with tasks, copied papers, prepared to teach a religion class, taught a religion class, delivered things to classes, did announcements, and so much more!

We are having so much fun and are trying to motivate our school to be the good by helping them as much as we can. We got to drink hot chocolate in fun containers, and got to be very official with clipboards. We also got to unlock doors and use the walkie-talkies. We also got to start the fire drill! That was very exciting and nerve-wracking. We both love being principal and vice principal, and don't ever want the day to end.
Delaney and Julia

In the fading of the summer sun,
the shortening of days, cooling breeze,
swallows' flight and moonlight rays
In the browning of leaves once green,
morning mists, autumn chill,
fruit that falls frost's first kiss
